About Us

Workplace bias and a desire for work-life balance are driving more women of color into entrepreneurship, but many aren't prepared.

Supporting these women is mission-critical, not only for their economic stability and well-being, but also because women of color will make up the majority of women in the United States by 2045 and will be the key to the growth and stability of our national and global economies.

Hi, I'm Titilayo Tinubu Ali, founder of Own Your Expertise, and I believe that all women should have the support and business skills we need to thrive in their jobs now and lean outwhen workplaces aren't working for them.

Own Your Expertise provides community, courses and coaching to help make that happen.

With these tools, you'll be able to stay ahead of the freelance economy trend, exercise greater agency over your time, and recenter your needs and the people who are most important to you.

If this feels like a good fit, here are the three ways we can work together:

Before working with Titilayo, I wasn't sure where to start, how to organize, or what was possible in the consulting field. I lacked knowledge of a succinct system to get me to the place of starting and was unclear about the path to consulting.

Over the course of working with Titilayo, I developed a clear vision for how I will start consulting, where this could possibly lead, and I reaffirmed my value in the space I intend to consult in. My first consulting gig is actually in the works, and I feel like a world of opportunities opened up.

Titilayo is a wonderful communicator and educator, and the design of the materials was A1. She has a gentle, genuine spirit and is very easy to work with. Because she is naturally gifted and puts in the work herself, I knew that I was getting solid information and support.
